Question on 70 front grill
The correct grill should only have one place for a screw and that is in the corner correct. The rest of the attachment points should be studs on the back.

Re: Question on 70 front grill (Makonut)
Correct, also at the end of the 70 run some cars had the 71-72 grills and some very early 71's had the 70 grills BUT GM never mixed the grills up--one side 70 and the other 71-72 a sign of a fender bender! Thad

Re: Question on 70 front grill (TNT)
I have a June built car, and it has the '70 grill. This summer at a car show, I saw an early '70 and it had the grill with the screws. ('71) I assumed they had been replaced. I didn't ask the owner about it. His car looked good.
