Default Break-in Time?

I had my motor rebuilt and machined and I was wondering how long you guys think I should wait until I can get on it. I am so anxious to put my foot in it but I do not want to mess anything up. :nono:

I usually go about 200 or 300 miles before I start getting on it (GENTLY).

If your bearing clearances were within specs, and the rings had the proper gap. there's no reason you can't push it during break in. Just don't get to insane with the go fast pedal. And don't run it hard while its cold.

And after about 500 to 700 miles, pedal to the metal. :steering:

Just keep it under 4000rpm for the first 800. You can still floor it, but dont let it rise above 4k.
