i read that there is a hydralic power brake booster and one that came from GM cars too but some like the manual brakes too, what the benifit/differance???? im fixing my brakes and mods first on my 82 vette before i do any thing else i just want some pro's ande con's, thanks :steering:

I agree completely. The only way to go is a hydroboost unit from the above website. It's the best thing you can do for your shark. You'll stop much better than with any other system that you can buy.

i read post on here about hydro assisted boosters that came on diesel gm car that works the same as hydroboost system, i was looking for information on this set-up :steering:

the hydrobooster is the booster that came off of diesel cars (some petrols too because the general didn't want to use oidd. setups for diff. cars)

I will have my car back in about a week!! It will be a whole new car: 500hp 470ci BB, tko 5 speed, o-ring brake pistons, and of course...the Hydroboost

I will definately post lots of comments! i really look forward to good brakes...especially with the 540 pounds of tq that i will have!
