Switching to side exhaust problems
I looking into getting another 69---this one's a vert--but no side exhaust :cry . If I put side exhaust on it if I get it, what can be done with the 2 cut-outs on the rear valence? This is a #'s matching car and I didn't want to change the valence or fill in the area in case it needs to go back original. Are there some covers you can buy to snap in back there or other easy fix? Thanx

Re: Switching to side exhaust problems (Sixty9)
Most of the Corvette parts houses sell replacement valences that don't have the holes, I'm not sure how much refiberglassing is required to install them.

Re: Switching to side exhaust problems (Smokehouse69)
Zip, Ecklers, Corvete Central all sell filler panels that are made so that the part of the tip cut-out in the rear end/panel is filled in.
No glassing the hole in.
I think they run around 100+ dollars.
Hope this helps.

Thanx for the help---I can't find any of these parts on their websites though--tried a few different searches( rear valance, filler panels, cut-out covers) coming up with nothing
