Default My 78 SA Got an older brother today!

(Hope the 78 doesn't get jealous!)

Picked up the 63 FI I have been looking at for a while now. Although it will be getting a total restoration over time. It is a sweet looking machine in the pics. Up close though the paint is gone and the interior isn't bad but will be replaced. Body will be coming off.

The FI Unit is in the process of a complete rebuild and should be here next week. Have everything to put it all back. Car runs and drives as is with a carb and manifold.

Let the games begin!

Congratulations! Nice car. I could not keep my 1979 when I took delivery of the 1967 in June. You are very fortunate to have an example of both generations.

[QUOTE](Hope the 78 doesn't get jealous!)

I think the '78 probably will be jealous.......she will no longer be the center of attention. Still beautiful, but......... you got the real deal right there, baby. Oh My God !!! :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: :hurray: I was born in 62....love the '62's, but there's something so mysterious and mezmerizing about the '63's. tell you a secret.....I have the '63 emblem tattooed on my tailbone!!! :yesnod: :yesnod: :yesnod: (guess that's not a secret anymore!!!) Will post a photo when I get a little better at the digital stuff.

congrats.........

Thanks everyone. Like I say, the pics look good but it is in need of a lot of work to bring her back to life. But it's something I've wanted for a long time.

57 is the year of my birth (oops, aging myself - 46) so certainly that's on my list. Had my hands on one the other day that a guy bought NEW in 57 and still original paint, interior and engine. Looked like the day it rolled off the showroom. Problem was he just passed away and the wife was going to sell it, then decided she was gonna drive the damn thing until her last breath!

PS-Just how much money do you have!!??
More money than brains apparently! :D

I've got to be out of my mind. I still have to finish the 34 Ford but that's winding down. Should be done in a few weeks I hope, after 3 years.

Buy american, on credit, it's the American Way! :flag

Thanks again everyone!!!
