Default small valves to large valves

what changes in performance would you notice when changing from small valve
heads ( 194 ) to larger valve heads ( 202 ) ?

Think in terms of a system. Large valves by themselves - without the correct cam, intake and exhaust - will not deliver the performance gain you seek.

Just installing large valves by themselves will hurt your performance. You need to have the ports opened up to to match the valves. By the time that you've bought valves, paid to have them installed and seated and paid to have the ports opened up for them you could have bought a set of aftermarket higher flowing heads cheaper. Guess how I know. :mad

you don't have SMALL valves. my 72 had 1.70" intakes. THAT is SMALL.
