How about the girl on your hood???? :)
Seriously, storage compartment doors, the spare tire carrier.....maybe even the hood itself (or is that illegal???).........an alloy gas tank.........that's all I've got.......

Bleed 25lbs of air from each tire :lolg:
Seriously, remove all the wiring that was connected to the stuff you ripped out...

Seriously though, are you still runnin steel wheels? Lightweight aluminum wheels will gain you more than just the weight reduction. Since theyre part of the drivetrain, lighter wheels will free up more power for the pavement. For each 1 lb of lost wheel weight its like loosing 8lbs off the body in terms of speed gain in the 1/4. Less power lost to the drivetrain components means more power planted to the ground.

Holes don't weigh anything and cost nothing but time.
I swish cheezed my front vacuum tube and all front brakets and lost 40 pounds. I just started drilling away and later deburred and powder coated everything.
Later I ditched everything behind the new fiberglass bumper. Even the plate behind the license plate weighs alot.
50 pounds in the nose is not hard to loose.

that is funny  I thought I heard someone suggest filling your tires with helieum. But not too much since you dont wanna loose traction. :lolg:

not so sure I like the holes Idea.. I've seen it done in some race cars, but I dont want to lose the strength in case of a crash

Norval,
I really like your swiss cheeze :) I might end up doing that too. I already cut away most of the front plate on the frame extension, time to start cutting holes :D

pull the power steering belt, when mine broke it felt alot more powerful, and i think someone previously said they took thiers off at the track and it cut off half a second. so thats qual to removing 500 lbs. Itsw the front most one, so its easy, just one bolt.
