Ocean City Maryland
Anyone going to the Corvette meet in OC MD, in October. I plan to go. Want to know if CF was doing something in OC. I did'nt see anything on the Calendar of events. I plan to stay at the Fenwick Inn, North OC.

The 2003 Free State Corvette Ocean City Weekend is scheduled for October 3 & 4, 2003. Preliminary information is listed below and will be updated with firm schedules soon. On line registration for the 2003 Free State Corvette Ocean City Weekend will be open as of June 1, 2003.
The Grand Hotel will again host this year's event.

Portions of the proceeds from this event sponsor the Spina Bifida Association of Maryland and other area charities.
Please register using our convenient on-line registration form. Just fill in the blanks and submit to receive on line registration confirmation.
We expect more than 700 Corvettes for this special weekend and some events will be limited, so please register early. You must sign-in and pick up your registration packet in person at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City to participate in any of the events.
You must have passes, which will be included in your registration packet, to participate in any of the events. We recommend that you pick up your registration packet on Friday in order to beat the rush.
All participants in the Friday Night Kick-Off Bash, Boardwalk Parade, Fun Shows, Judged Show, Rallies and Saturday night dinner must be registered in order to participate. The competitive events will be NCCC sanctioned. All drivers must possess a valid drivers license for all events.
All events will take place rain or shine.
The Weekend Registration Fee entitles you to a variety of privileges, including: Friday Night Kick-Off Bash at the Grand Hotel with music.
Entrance is FREE to registered participants with their event pass.
Participation in the Boardwalk Parade of Corvettes on Saturday afternoon
Admittance to the Awards Ceremony on Saturday afternoon
Car Dash plaque (to the first 600 registered cars)
Patch and Event Pin (to the first 1200 registered participants)
Goody Bag (to the first 300 registered cars)
Please note that online registrations will no longer be accepted after September 7, 2003. Late registration will be available on Friday, October 3 at the Grand Hotel in Ocean City from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and also on Saturday, October 4 at the Recreation Center from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM.

This year's schedule for the 2003 Ocean City Corvette Weekend will include the following competitive events, which will be sanctioned by NCCC. All drivers must possess a valid drivers license for all events. Single Fun Show
Double Fun Show (must be registered in the Single Fun Show to participate in the Double Fun Show)
Judged Show
Single Poker Rallye (navigator required)
Double Rallye (navigator required and must be registered in the Single Rallye to participate in the Double Rallye)
Note: Competitive Programs are scheduled to enable participants to take part in all events.
In a Fun Show, the Corvettes are separated into Classes chosen by the Host Club. Entrants then vote for their favorite car in each class, except their own class. In Ocean City, we will run two (2) Fun Shows simultaneously: the Single Fun Show and the Double Fun Show. Each participating car will receive a free Corvette Weekend dash plaque. Trophies will be awarded for each Show. (Registration limited to the first 230 cars)
A show of corvettes in which the entries are judged chiefly on excellence of appearance. Each participating car will receive a free Corvette Weekend dash plaque. Trophies will be awarded. (Registration limited to the first 50 cars)
In Ocean City, we will run two (2) Rallies simultaneously. The Single Rallye will be a Poker Rallye and if you register for the Double Rallye you will be doing the Single Poker Rallye in addition to a Gimmick Rallye. Each participating car will receive a free Corvette Weekend dash plaque. Trophies will be awarded for each Rallye. (Registration limited to the first 150 cars)
Participants must register for the above events on the registration form. Each car participating in the Fun Show, Judged Show and Rallye will receive a free dash plaque.
Both driver and navigators are eligible for NCCC points for the competitive events. You and the navigator must provide your NCCC number on the registration form to ensure proper credit.
The public is invited to attend the Fun Show events and the Boardwalk Parade of Corvettes as spectators.
FREE to all registered participants of Corvette Weekend. Wear your dancing shoes and get ready for a fun beach party with great music!! Prizes for best beach Corvette costumes. Chips and pretzels will be available. Cash bar.
This year we offer a pasta bar for registered event participants attending the Friday Night Party. The menu will include a salad, lasagna and two kinds of pasta with rolls. The cost will be $10.00. Tickets need to be purchased in advance through registration
YES!!!! You can drive your car down the Boardwalk. Magnificent parade with over 500 cars driving down the Boardwalk. Onlookers all along the Boardwalk, spectators waving from hotel rooms, cameras flashing and YOU driving YOUR Corvette down the Boardwalk, the envy all those onlookers and spectators!!!
This year we have made arrangements with our Host hotel, Grand Hotel, to host and cater our Saturday night buffet dinner. We have planned a new and improved menu with their talented chefs including multiple carving tables and seafood !!! After the Boardwalk Parade of Corvettes participants who have paid for the dinner can proceed to the Grand Hotel. (Limited to first 450 registrants selecting the dinner option.)
After the buffet dinner, let the party begin!!!! (at the Grand Hotel) Trophies will be awarded and door prizes announced. There will be music and dancing to celebrate the end to a great Corvette day. DJ Batman is scheduled to appear. Cash bar will be available.
Online apparel orders will no longer be accepted after August 25, 2003. We need to submit our final order to our vendor to process the large volume of placed orders in time for Ocean City Corvette Weekend 2003.
This year, Free State Corvette Club will offer a new design for the Corvette Weekend 2003 Apparel. T-shirts, Long Sleeve T-Shirts, Golf Shirts, Sweatshirts and Hats will be available. Quantities will be limited so we recommend that you pre-order on the on-line registration form and pre-pay by September 15 for pickup in Ocean City on Friday.
