This is a picture of a Scottish Corvette:

Not as sleek and fast as our Vettes, but it holds water better :)

Anyway, you should be travelling to NZ........more Vettes per capita than any country in the world

I saw a few about 10 years ago, but I doubt that you will find an event, unless related to a general car show. There is a chapter of the NCRS in the UK. You might want to get in contact with them.

I hear they have a few vettes north of the border and I'm sure they will have some monthly meets so you might be lucky. This is the e-mail address of the southern Scotland representative of the UK vette club:
grantglfv8@hotmail.com
There are plenty of events down south if you get that far...

Hi,

Check out the pictures in this link, I took them at a small local show close to my sisters home near Glasgow. There are plenty of nice Vettes in Scotland but it might be a bit late in the year for shows. If you can find a link to the UK publications of Custom Car or Street Machine they both have a list of of "what`s on where"

Enjoy Your Visit

J.

How many vettes do you have in NZ? And how many people is living in there? I'm just curious to know the result.

Charlie,
There is usually a cruise one Saturday per month, starting at a location just off the M8 highway, between Edinburgh & Glasgow. I would like to tell you more but all my stuff is all at home and I am in Russia at the moment. The UK Corvette club web site is http://www.corvetteclub.org.uk and you should get the details of the Scottish rep from there.

But stay away from New Zealand and places like that, thats where we sent all our undesirables a few years ago, they veneer of respectability is still very thin! :lolg:
