Default How do tell if your rear mono-leaf is worn out ??

I'm assuming there is some tolerance for ground-to-fender height. Or maybe it's just the bug to replace it with a higher spring rate

If you are not able to get anymore ride height out of the spring. Or if the spring sits flat or with a reversed arch.

I thought monosprings were supposed to sit roughly flat?

All the ones I have seen still have a slight arch to them when parked. Maybe there was something wrong with them. :)

A slight arch, yeah ... probably because most guys drop their sharks. With the stock ride height, my spring sits almost flat. I can put an arch in it by dropping the rear though.

These ride height specs are from the assembly manual for my '80 but they should work for your '81. http://temp.corvetteforum.net/c3/miker//ride_height.jpg
