Another "What's it worth". '76 W Only 9K mi
Hi,
A friend of a friend, has a 1976, L82, 4 speed with 9,700 actual miles.
He is the original owner.
He has the "hots" for a Z06 and would like to sell.
Appreciate any help to determine what it's worth.
Thanks
Barry

I wouldn't hazard a guess...but certainly having the desireable combination of the L82/4 speed would make a noticeable difference vs say a base L48/auto combination. If it's that authentic, quite a "survivor" candidate! Hope it has been stored carefully!

Thanks Ed ..
That gives me a good indication of the value.
I'll pass it alone to my friend.
As a note, this is a Canadian car. It seems that the value of classic cars in Canada are about the same as in the US.
However, if you purchase with US funds, you get a great break on the exchange.
A 15K (Cdn) car purchased in Canada would cost much less than 15K in US dollars.
This car could be a great deal for someone from the US.
Thanks again

Hi Doug,
I have not seen the car. It's in Moncton, NB
My friend says it's been a well cared for car. I'll be in Moncton this weekend. If I get a chance, I'll have a look.
It's silver. Not sure of the interior colour.

15 -20K is about the right range, unfortunatly there is a limit on the top price no matter what condition it is in it seems and you will not get anymore unless you start gold plating things :D
