Default Anyone else in the process of ordering Hedmans?

I ordered some #68301-6 through everyone's favorite vendor(no sarcasm, and generally I've had nothing but good business with them. I'm not considering this their fault at all... bad luck on my part, I guess.)

Anyhow, the headers were originally supposed to come in 8/08/03, and have been pushed back constantly since then. Now, it's at 9/15.

Really aggrivating. Anyone else going through this?

Steve - sorry to hear about this delay. When you buy headers think about the next upgrade. Like ange plugs and maybe 1 3/4 I liked headman because they were near eqaul length pri's

Carb rebuild. Or trailing arms.

Also need to fix door hinges.

Planning on not touching the motor otherwise until I have enough cash for a complete replacement.

When do you plan on gracing California w/ your presence, George?

How far are you from CA-49? I have relatives there. Supposedly it's very close to Reno.

Sounds interesting... I ordered my HED-68090 , a pair of Flowmaster series 40 mufflers and the x pipe for the 427 last month from Summit, they were sent out for delivery the next day...
Can´t wait to install them and try them out :auto:

The ultimate way to attach the pipes to the heads is ARP studs. You install them with some kind of Anti-Sieze and your $5 dollar stud installation socket. It makes it a breeze to slap on your gasket and then headers. The headers gaskets i use are right out of the summit racing catolog FelPro blue steel impregnated. They never blow out. I used to blow through cheapo brand-X at nearly every race.

I use Allens for years IMO they are best header bolts (grade 8 allens). I tried the stag 8 C-Clip retainer locking nuts. The only work on the smaller 1 5/8ths headers.

I'd have to look at a map and see where highway 49 is
