Default 200 4r

I have a 79 and a 200 4r that need to be mated. Do I need a 400 crossmember or can the stock be modified to fit. Any clearence problems?

Stock crossmember fits without modification. Driveshaft does not need cutting. That's one of the virtues of the 200-4R. :yesnod:

I did that change this spring. Everything fit without to much problem. I did have to make a bracket to hold the steering column lock cable. check out my web site for more info.
