Manifold Leak
This weekend I discovered the intake manifold on my BB is leaking oil on the front edge and onto the water pump. My question is, aside from the oil leaking, could this affect performance and/or lead to other serious problems? Thanks for any replies

Nothing serious to worry about if its just a gasket leak and should not present problems--just keep an eye on your oil level. If you're mechanically inclined to replace the intake gasket yourself, to replace the gasket is not real bad and means only pulling your carb, distributor and intake. You'll need to change your oil immediately afterwards since some antifreeze usually gets into your oil. The whole job is about 1 hour. :cheers:
