Left side idle screw has more effect than right?
The left side screw has more effect on idle quality than right on my new Edelbrock Performer carb. When I bring the rpm's up off the idle circut, the the fuel will begin coming out of the left side boost venturi before the right. Could these issue be related? The intake is a Performer Air Gap.

Sounds like a blockage of some sort, had the same problem with my Holley. I ended up tearing mine apart and cleaning it then blowing all the passeges out with comp air. Works great now.

Make sure both sides are adjusted approximately the same. You can check/set this by screwing them in all the way counting turns.

I'd say you might have a blockage internally. It could a gasket prob. Take it down, and check all passages for junk, and be sure the carb passage holes line up with and have same holes in gaskets. :smash:

My friend had the same problem with his Edelbrock carb. We never could get it to work right. One side was adjusted vacuum with about 1 1/2 turns out while the other side never changed at all. He finally got a Holley.
