wife may get mad
I opened the paper this morning to see a few ads for vettes that caught my eye. One is for a 80 4 speed for 4500.00. Then there is 2 vette together for 5000.00 total ,I don't know what years but a will let you know. There is also a 81 ttop, auto, pw, pb asking 5000.00 obo. Oh, ther is also a 78 25 th anv. asking 4600.00.
The wife said I don;t need another vette to play with since a am just finishing my 69 convt and have a 72 BB to start next I have to plan ahead.
So the way I am looking at it for under 20k i can have 5 more vettes and enough projects to last me until I Die. :yesnod: :D :cool:

Sounds like some pretty nice deals, but after looking at several vettes for sale in this area over the past 3 years, its scary to think what kind of condition they will be in for that price. Never know till you look though. :)

Lavetteman, I with you . I have looked at a few around here in some were in real bad shape. I'm still going to go check these out. I will let everone know what I see.
They just have the GNCC show this past weekend here. I didn't show but I went for awhile. The show was not as big as in the past, but they had some nice vettes. Got some great Pics. :cool:

I think its a general thing around here. Most well cared for vettes don't sell or are fishing way too much $$$$. But the beaters are in the papers all the time.
I normally attend the NCRS Mardi Gras meet in Gonzalas in the spring. Next time the Louisiana forum members get together, I'll shoot you an invite if you would like.
Our local club is having our yearly show in Lafayette on Oct 18th. Come join us if you can. :thumbs:
