I will be having the keisler t56 installed into my 74. I was wondering if anyone here is running this transmission with higher than 4.10 gears. If you are, or if you run 4.10's and have an opinion please let me know.
This will be the viper version with the .5 overdrive. I currently run a 465 horse 350 with the edelbrock e-tec 200 heads which makes for a high reving small block that doesn't make much power below 2000 rpm.

I would also like to use an ati procharger in the future so if you run a big block or blown smallblock with an od tranny your opion would be particularly appreciated.

Wow, 465 hp on e-block heads. I think you need to reconsider your tranny choice. To much power. Go TKO. With 4.10 gears, you will be changing gears before the 60 ft mark.

Post engine specs and dyno chart for your set up. Alot of guys here would love to see how to get 465 out of a 350.

After talking to Dave Hill at Carlisle last week, we are changing the Richmond 6-spd with 3.07 Dana 44 to a T56 with 3.90 rearend. The LS6 I have learned gets max fuel economy between 1600-1800 rpm. The .5 OD of the T56 will give 63 mph to 71 mph at these revs using P285/40R17 tires. The 4.11 gears you want would probably increase the rpm's roughly 200 in top gear.

Mine will be a highway cruiser built for long trips. Pro Touring for real.
