I need help with carpets?
How do I remove the carpet from the rear storage compartment doors? I mean this stuff in on there with what has to be the most strongest adhesive. Help!

Thanks, Just any kind of heat gun right? This stuff is on with the most powerful adhesive I've ever seen!

Personally I wouldn't (and didn't) screw around trying to remove the old carpet. As you already know, they used the glue from hell to stick the carpet to the doors. The heat gun MIGHT work, but the odds are you're going to end up with melted and/or cracked plastic. It's much simpler IMHO to bite the bullet and buy new doors and a trim piece.

I have another carpet question in 71 convertible. My carpet was already out of the car, So I started to install the new carpet no problem with the floors but when I got to the back can't see exactly how the back wall fits near the hinge springs for the deck. And does it go all the way to the top of fiberglass lip. Anybody have pics
Thanks ahead
