Thanks Hobbes, never would have guess that one, although, not sure what it means, but at least I know what it stands for.

"to the top" means that you are making a post that will place this thread at the top of the page. Every time someone replies to a post, it goes to the top of the list.

BTT might mean 'Bump/back to top' but I am guessing. BTW means 'By the way'.

We have all kinds of funny expressions here....such as PITA and POS....neither of which can accurately described without using language that is unacceptable in forum etiquette.....the former is used to describe fun things like fixing a fusebox problem due to where the fusebox is located....the latter to describe some rather "rough" looking cars that someone (usually on ebay) is trying to get rid of....

Seeing as how this post is slightly OT anyway, IMHO, until one learns the "code", trying to fix one's POS is a PITA, esp. if one wants to stick with NOS parts. BTW , mine being both NOM and BUBBA'd, OEM parts are not a high priority. FWIW, MODS do get easier with time. Welcome to the forum! :jester

OT - Off topic
IMHO - In my humble opinion
POS - Piece of shoot
PITA - Pain in the asterisk
NOS - New original stock
BTW - By the way
NOM - Non original motor
Bubba'd - A temporary or less-than-optimum fix or mod (see below)
OEM - Original equipment manufacturer
FWIW - For what it's worth
MODS (meaning 1)- modificatons
MODS (meaning 2) - Forum moderators
