water temp gauge pegs out when I turn headlights on.......
My water temp gauge pegs out when i turn my headlights on in the 81', when I turn them off it goes right back to where it should be. Anybody had this problem?

I had the same thing happen when I first got mine. It ended up to be a ground wire wasn't attached to the cluster plate. Check to see if the plate is grounded.
