Sure. All you need to do is buy a 1979 model.
I might try to build my own cold air setup... Not sure yet...

I wish! No front plate is the best I can do.

If you went to home depot and got some furnace ducting you could make it pretty easily, and then polish it up. Put the register part wher the license plate goes and then stick the round part on the carb.

Probably the best is a funtional L-88 set up. I believe you already have a riased hood with a cowl, so you should be able to bond the airbox off an L-88 hood to the underside of yours and presto !

Theres an aftermarket company that sells dual snorkle breathers. Ive seen thier adds in the back pages of car magazines. If something like that will fit, its just a matter of running duct work to a cold air source. Ill try and find an online link to them. If I find it Ill post it.

I emailed these guys awhile back, they don't have a complete solution, but the boxes themselves should be a good start:

Re: Cold Air setup for a C3? (GrandSportC3)
i would like to build one myself, and have the ducts go directly into the air intakes on my hood, i thought of the raim airbox with some duct work, but one would need to be small because my radiater hose is in the way on one side, and then i would need some way of it sealing when i would close the hood down...
