Key tumbler on rear of 70 LT-1?
I purchased a 70 LT-1 cowl back body from Scott at Corvetteworks a little while back and I'm starting to inspect it and get ready for a complete makeover for my '69.
There is a hole in the rear panel that is the same shape as the key tumber holes in the doors like it had a place for a key to unlock the spare tire or something. Anyone have any idea what this was for?
I just know it didn't have a trunk!
Thanks in advance.

Hmmm... factory alarm switch on the outside on the rear surround just above the CORVETTE letters?
Seems like an eye sore kind of place to stick a key switch for an alarm.
Gonna have to glass that thing over.
