Default identifying motor and tranny

On this 1980 I just purchased i'm trying to identify whats in it for a motor. it looks to be a 350 with a holly set up and i'm told it's probably hooked to a700R4 Tranny How can I Identify it?

Engine: numbers stamped on engine deck just forward of passenger side cylinder head. And on rear inbetween the engine and bellhousing. Postem and will try to help you figure it out.

Tranny: thats easy, how many times does the tranny shift from stop to 60 mph???? 3 times= no overdrive :( 4 times= overdrive ;)
