Safe Paint Stripper for Radiator Shroud?
Just cleaned my radiator shroud with Simple Green but still have the paint that Bubba sprayed on to remove. Of course he didn't clean it before he sprayed so now I have painted on gunk that I have to get off. :mad
What will remove the paint without melting the plastic shroud?

You might try a small out of sight area with a product called "goof off". I would guess most chemicals that remove paint can also soften that shroud, including possibly the goof off. Some could maybe be scraped off with a razor blade?

Kid Vette,
I just stripped the shroud on my '77. I used Bumper stripper made by SEM #39913. I bought it at place that specializes in stuff for auto body work. It took the paint off and left the plastic clean and didn't soften it at all. It's a spray can and is real easy to use.
