Wheels sizes on 72??
Can I run 17x9.5's on all four corners with 285/40/17's with no problems on my '72?? Someone on the corvettefaq website said this combo worked on his '81, and he claimed to have a stock suspension. I've relocated my parking brake bracket and installed a monospring and a sway bar, but the rest is stock. Oh yeah....he was running 5" backspacing. I would think 4.5" would be the max??? Seems to be alot of confusing contradictions, so is there anyone out there with a '72 running this combo?? :confused:
