Which tires for 1979?
I need new tires for my 1979 to complete my total restoration. I don't ride in the winter and only the rain if I get caught. It's not modified in any way. It's used in the nice weather for cruises and shows. 225/70/R15. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated? What are guys and gals riding on? Thanks!! Bill

I moved to BFG 245 60's and like the stance and handling. Price is also excellent through Tire Rack. No rubbing on the body; however, it sits lower.

Most people go with 255/60/R15 on the stock 15 inch rims which was the factory performance tires. This should fit the rears OK but the front required a little trimming of the front fender inside lip - which was done by the factory if you ordered RPO# QBS option tires. (Got my black book handy :D )
