Default Engine Question

The '70 Vette I purchased had it's engine (L46 - 350/350) rebuilt by the previous owner. The line item details on the receipt include quite a bit of information, most of which I (sorta) understand. But, can someone help me with the following items:

* Bore & Hone V8 Cyl..020
* Regrind Pass./Lt. Truck Crankshaft.010
* Cam Shaft WOL-WG996 (is this a non-stock cam...it sounds like a different cam?)

Thanks.

Default Re: Engine Question (Motor City Vette)

* Bore & Hone V8 Cyl..020 .
Cylinders bored out .020 and honed. (Not uncommon) Likely new pistons installed.
Brand, type ?????
GM Stock pistons were TRW, Forged, 11:1 Compression.

* Regrind Pass./Lt. Truck Crankshaft.010.
Crankshaft was likely scored some. Engine shop grouned each journal down by .010 to provide good surface for new bearings. (Not Uncommon)
Stock GM crank was forged steel. (Nice Crank)

* Cam Shaft WOL-WG996 (is this a non-stock cam...it sounds like a different cam?).
Looks like a new camshaft was used. Not GM. I'm not familiar with that number.
Could be an aftermarket. Brand, type ????

Proper GM cam is 3896962

Hope this helps.
