How do I find a good car?

How do I find a good car without becoming a PITA?
I have been searching here and all the online sights for a C3 and every car that sounds good is not local. I know most guys here check out cars for each other if they are close but I do not want to become a pain. Everyone makes their car sound better than it is and most sound great until you look at it. I guess the question is: How many times can I bother the forum to look at a car for me before I am labeled as a pest? I of course will reimburse expenses incurred for anyone who helps. Sorry about the barrage of stupid questions but this is my first Vette and I am trying not to get screwed! Thanks

By searching and searching and then searching some more......If there is a local car that you want a forum member to check out for you just post it I am sure someone will do it!

You could go to Carlisle next weekend. There will be plenty of vettes for sale.
