Wiring Gurus: Fusable Links and locations???
Anyone know where the fusable links are on a 79 (78 probably the same). I think I blew through one and knowing the general vicinity would be of assistance Thanks!

You will find them where the wires connect onto the starter moter,good idea to replace it if you find one blown.

The main fuse link is at the starter (10 gauge). There are 2 or 3 more at the firewall on the engine side where the main wiring connector is, and those are smaller, maybe 14 or 16 gauge.

Thanks You guys..... I was armed with a voltmeter to check the entire harness. My shop manual indicated three but the starter one is the one I could not trace. THANKS!!!!!

THANKS TO ALL WHO ASSISTED> Got the links in (by the starter) and all is well... It was a bonehead move getting the links blown, especially as I was installing a serp system, but all is ok in CA now.. Thanks again. (And now I know where they are!!)
