Getting the "Ring around the pinion" from local Rearend Shops
Well, I was calling around today about my '80, trying to find someone to take a look at a set of gears that I had purchased about a year ago for a different Chev that I owned at the time.
Looking at the richmond ones on E-bay for the C3's seem to be pretty simalir, just straight forward 'ring & pinion'... not anything complicated like buddy from Alberta Driveline was telling me it was.
Is my 80 any different? How can I tell which type of Diff came in my car, and better yet?? Anyone in the local edmonton Area want to take my rearend apart this weekend?? ;)

80 vette-- dana 44
truck-- 10 bolt corporate(GM made)
similar in strength( dana 44 is a bit better) different gears though if I'm not mistaken

Sounds about right... Thanks for the 411. Looks like I will be ordering from Summit this winter. :flag
