CHEVY :D ;) (had you guys fooled there for a sec eh.. no blue ovals for me)

It's a 1983 C10 Silverado stepside, completely restored and a little custom here and there just how I like it.

Funny I just stopped and looked at an 84 that had a 454 and 700r4 but they wanted $7,500 was thinking more like $5,000.

Sweet ride.

Nice ole truck, from a time when chevy had thier chit together.

IMO, one of those corvette tail light conversions would look real nice on that ride and match the exhaust that is there.

Looks like someone spent some time/money keeping that thingup. :yesnod:

Over here a nice one will set you back at least 15k

What's done??? Everything, all bolts on the bed and cab are stainless, the rest is zinc plated, most of the brackets and stuff is either powdercoated or painted with epoxy paint, engine and trans overhauled less than 900 miles ago. The interior has Custom Truck of Texas (wood) trim, the bench is one with the middle seat which doubles as a storage box/arm res/ cup holders

The engine is a 350 with an edelbrock package consisting of a camkit (cam lifters springs and timing set) an edelbrock intake and an edelbrock 600cfm carburetor. It also has chrome plated hooker headers and SS dual 2,5" exhaust

Oh yea, It's got the most brutal doorlock **** :) :D

Sweet ride twin Turbo,
Think I can find some door locks like that for my truck??? Yea, I know its not a chevy...its in the garage but this one has a billet grill, cowl hood, 4x4 and 20" tires with chrome moly mags to boot... I was checking out a site earlier that sells custom air valve caps

nads server down.. well... when it's back up here's a little detail I added. Since my bowtie covers don't fit the vette engine and it was a complete waste of money to sell them at over 60% loss I painted them and put them on the truck :)

Twin Turbo,
I like your valve covers myself and the stance of your truck....Now to tub it out and drop your other motor into it and see if you have a traction problem

Nice ride, Twinnie. I just scored an '80 short-wide from my wife's uncle. It came with a brand new Chevy 350 crate motor that had never been turned over, along with a new carb and other accessories. It also came with new aluminum rims and tires. Cost to me: $1500.

Here is the truck:

The new motor did not look too new:

It was not dull and dirty for long, though:

Here it is installed in the truck:
