Just bought some ET Streets with rims :D
I found them on Ebay... They are 28 x 11.5 - 15 ET Streets with chrome plated steel rims. The tires only have about 3 passes on them and look like new.. The rims are new!! They didn't get any bids at $250... so I bought them for $200 + shipping after the auction ended :D :D :D

How funny, I had looked at those but passed cause I don't think I can fit that wide of a tire.

 Oliver, that right there may be that extra little bit to hit 11's. :yesnod:
Since then I added following mods:
1) Skinny front wheels& tires (12 lbs/rim weight savings = close to 100 lbs effective weight saving)
2) Lightweight Race seat
3) ET Streets (that I will mount on my 14.5 lbs Centerline rims)
I currently use BFG Drag Radials on 17 lbs TT2 rims. I should save close to 10 lbs/rim+tire. Considering that it's centrifugal weight - it's close to 100 lbs in effective weight saving
Mod 1 and 3 alone should be .1 - .2 better ET. In addition - I should get .15 to .20 from a better 60' time.
I will add following mods before racing:
4) carbon fiber driveshaft
5) carbon fiber half shafts
I hope for another .1 from those mods. I also might install a electric fuel pump.. but I'm not sure about that...

I actually want to be at least in the 11.80's...
I see no reason why you can't achieve 11.80 or better that time.

I think I'd go for an electric pump and a regulator if it were me. Not just for the potential relief on the engine, but also for the peace of mind. Ever since I had a mechanical pump go out and pump the gas tank onto the ground so close to my headers, I've been a bit paranoid about mechanical pumps. I say electric pump and solid lines on the pressure side.

If anybody wants to buy my Torq Thrust II rims with the 275/60R15 Drag Radials (which still have a few passes left on them) - I will put them in the "Parts For Sale" section.... If they won't sell here - I will put them on Ebay...

I haven't had any fuel delivery issues yet.. I use a Carter 120 GPH pump and it has served me quite well so far... Anyway - electric pumps aren't that expensive.. so I'm seriousely considering getting one...

And I doubt you will with that pump. I'm just the paranoid sort when it comes to mechanical pumps, though I am currently running one on my new engine, but I plan to go electric at some point. Just was too lazy to convert over right off and was more confident I would get it right the first time with a mechanical...

I don't know.. I will check my Vette budget after paying for my carbon fiber half shaft and drive shafts... do decide :D
