Default Vapor Lock...Part 2

Two weeks ago I was driving my car when it died. I thought I might have a vapor lock problem and how was I going to solve this problem. I droped the gas tank and cleaned it. I put a new fuel strainer, new fuel sock and a new fuel pump on the old girl. Last but not least I put compressed air to the fuel lines. Well holy s@#t Batman you shouold have heard the pop and a wad of crap came flying out of my line. I buttoned everything up put in new gas and everything appears fine. Time will tell.
Thanks forum members for all you help and advise.
Mike
