Default What is this connector for?

I am in the process of upgrading my stereo and when I started taking the console out I found this connector. It wasn't connected to anything. Can someone tell me what this connector is for?

Thanks

It almost looks like the Rear defog switch connector. But looks like its on the wrong side.

Those wire colors are a dead giveaway - aftermarket stereo speaker connector. Does it go to a set of front speakers?

I'm not sure. I haven't gotten everything out yet. It was just laying down under the plate on the console. I have a stock stereo in there right now and I am working on getting that out and once I do I will be able to see if these wires lead up to the speakers.

Thanks. I guess after I get everything out and out of the way I will be able to see better. I couldn't see what this was going to.
