Final finished painting my '70 (pics)

After about 4 months of working on it I am finally done (except the side skirts) It was red before (not original color) and decided I would like to try blue and am very happy with the results. The blue looks really good with the saddle interior.

Nice pics! I agree the blue looks terrific with the saddle interior. Gotta tell you it also looked pretty good red. Did you do it just for the color change or were there other issues?
Anyway, that is a great looking corvette. :)

Thanks. It needed paint and some body work. I had painted it with cheap paint while I was in college about 6 years ago and it was pretty faded and had cracked in places.

Did you use the same emblems or buy new ones?

I reused the emblems. The front one I had replaced a few years ago the rear gas cap emblem is a little faded. Have not put the Stingray's back on the fender yet.
Driving it yesterday for the first time in 4 or 5 months and after about 5 minutes of driving the A/C fan broke (aftermarket unit)....only about a hundred outside too hot to put the top down.
