Figured out how to consistantly chirp 2nd
Cant believe it took me this long to figure it out. Most of the time when i leave it in D and just give it 1/2 throttle it will chirp 2nd but it shifts so soon at 1/2 throttle that im usually still in the turn. But now, after turnin right for instance, if I have it pulled manually into 1st gear, I can slowly run the rpms up to about 3500 in first using only about 1/4 throttle. By this time im straightened up and heading up the road. Then throw it into 2nd and push the gas down a little more. CHIRP!!!! everytime then push the pedal down to hear the flowmaster 40's sing thier tune...BUUUUWAAAAAAA......im gone. Lately I just get off by cruisin around the block showin off like this rather than full throttle flogs. Much less likely to get a ticket for just chirpin a gear ot two.

Just don't use the same block for practice. Learned that at about 16. :hat
Yeah I guess when i bring the r's up slowly in first and let em linger for a second before shifting up, the line pressure in the trans has a chance to build up more. I think thats whats making it chirp so nasty. Feels good...sounds good..

I'm new so please forgive me if this is a dumb question :)
Wouldn't doing that be fast way to mess up your transmission?
I guess thats better than reving it up, then throwing it in Drive from Neutral :)
