Trust me, I did a profit plan on these. You have to own more than three to turn a profit. And the competition is undercutting each other.

Getting off the subject, but how does owning 3 make it profitable as compared to 1 or 2? Seems like the overhead would be low. Drive to the rentee's house, set up, drive back to retrieve it.

I've rented one of these things before (sans Corvette) and it was in the $300 range for a weekend (Fri-Sun). That was a pretty good deal in the comparisons that I did.

Looking at the seasonability of the unit, you would have to rent each one 10 to 15 times to pay for itself. OK, thats working free right. Thats also 3 to 4 months, ie Summer. Then take into consideration gas, insurance, taxes, help, storage, upkeep, and it was not looking like a good investment.

Now done get me wrong, if you had a wife that wanted to make some additional income, it would work. But it would take time to grow. Email me if you need some numbers or websites. It might work for you.

We rented a water slide last for my little boys birthday last sunday and like you said Bud, two ladies brought it out, set it up, and picked it up.
