Dallas area pro's
Hi all.
Since I will have to re-do just about everything on the 77 I just got, I will no doubt need some professional help at times. Anyone have suggestions on good, reputable, reasonable shops or mechanics in the area? I live in the NW suburb's of Dallas (Murphy - Between Plano and Wylie).
I want to try to do a lot on my own, but I know there will be things that just stump me or will be over my head.
Thanks everyone! :seeya

Congrats, I use Mike in Garland for mechanical issues. Rebuilding trailing arms and gears. He also does motors. His forum name is tracdogg2. Email me for his home number.

I use R.A.T.S. off Spring Valley and 75 (near TI Blvd). 972-235-4440 Ask for John (owner). I've been dealing with them for about 6 years.
They pretty much do anything.
Good Luck with the new toy :chevy

Hey USA;
Drive east - there's a vintage/muscle car place on 544 just inside Wylie.
ChevyJeff goes there - can't beat the closeness.
I second Mike - tracdogg2. And Budman's right - we can take anything
apart. We even can put front and rear suspensions back together again.
Need good beer to go along with it...
Tons of help here on the forum. Everything is done here, from replacing fuses
to the engine and body...
Good luck.
 :blueangel:

Re: Dallas area pro's (RCDriveryo)
Thanks alot guys! I actually went to Vintage Power on Saturday and talked to Boris. I will be taking the vette in on Wednesday to have it checked out for $60. From that I will get my list going and prioritize from that.
I would like to get together with you RC. Drop me an email and I'll get you my number. Would love to see your 77 to give me some inspiration since mine will need a lot of work.
And Adam, or anyone else in the area, the beer will flow plentiful!
Thanks again guys!
