I had my 69 wiper rebuilt at Wiperworks, located in Tennesee. They were reasonable and quick! Turnaround was 9 days and cost was aboy $150.
The original unit was bead blasted, all moving parts were cleaned and the finished unit was sprayed original color. They even provided a new original style sticker for motor. 1 year guarantee as well.

I bought mine from autozone, A delco for about 57.00 and tax, core charge (10.00) included, have had no problem with it and comes with lifetime warrenty, Mine is the same one for your 71 so they carry it,
also it was special order 3 days.
