I'm putting the A/C back in...sans the nasty 30 year old lines
Where did you get yours?
Are you happy with them?

I bought a set from Dr. Rebuild and they were fine. I don't care for his negative comments, but he has good parts.

They're scattered all over the south. They even special make hoses. A friend of mine had hoses made for his 40 F*rd street rod with a 350 in it. Cost him about $175 and was a really good job. Check out your local chain parts stores.

One of the major Corvette suppliers of Corvette parts was having the '73 only? A/C hoses reproduced. Don't remember if it was MidAmerica, Paragon, Zip, Corvette Central-just saw this a few weeks ago in one of these catalogs.

I bought the main lines (from back of compressor) from Zip - was a new part for them. Turns out that they did not include or even sell the "liquid line" (low pressure line back from condensor to evaporator. They referred me to Old Air products (you have the web site in this thread). Old Air was very helpful and I would call them directly if I were you.
I go through all this and my blower motor quits! I can't find the threads for the '95 blower motor conversion trick (buy at Auto Zone, fabricate a 1" spacer to accomodate bigger fan, etc...) Anybody have tips for that? The '95 motor I got has two leads instead the one that was stock on the 1973 motor. Help?
Good luck!
