Photochopped VDO Gauges
I found the gauges I want finally, and did a little photo editing magic to fully visualize what it will look like. The speedometer isn't available in the US (working around this one), and I'll have to add the redline marks myself, but I think they'll look great. They are backlit with glowing needles so night-time visibility will be far better than stock. I'll have to get a custom gauge bezel machined with smaller holes that looks almost-stock. What do you guys think?

 I like it, its not too radical and almost looks stock at first glance. Good luck making a bezel that will look stock though.

I was thinking about getting a 1/4 piece of aluminum machined then painted or annodized black. I haven't looked at the cost yet so that might be reason to try something else.

I was considering autometer, but I *really* like the look of backlit gauges with glowing numbers/needle. The only autometer products like this are not quite available yet (cobalt speedo/in-dash tach). And I think I prefer this look a little more anyways.

There was a thread a week or two ago about someone who got stainless steel center console covers. Its hard to explain but they looked really good. The guy who made them was taking orders and maybe he would be able to help you out with that. His work looked extremely professional and his price wasn't that bad either. Maybe someone else can remember more about that, or find a link to the thread. I seem to remember bseery or twinturbo interested (I could be wrong though) and talking about annodizing so maybe they can help.

That's the Vision series, right?
That is what I plan on going with for my center console, but will probably leave the speedo/tach alone.

Re: Photochopped VDO Gauges (BSeery)
Those are VERY thin, not strong enough to support gages.
