I searched the archives but found limited info.

Depends on how you want to do it. If you just want to patch in some raw fiberglass and some donor pieces cut off a '68-'72 front surround, then bolt up a used bumper and grilles, you're probably talking about $800 to $1k. Then you have to paint it to match, which would end up being a full paint job most likely.
If you want it done "right" then you'd have to replace the top surround, bond in the fenders, buy a front valance panel, and then repaint. New panels plus a new bumper, guards, grilles, brackets, and accessories is probably in the $2500 range.
Either way, you'll be left with a car that is worth less than it was before you started hacking on it. If you want a chrome bumper car, buy one. There are plenty of them out there to be had at fairly reasonable prices. Don't hack up a '73.
Just my $0.02

Alright alright. I'll leave it alone. BTW: the cars not original anyways, but I should probably leave it stock looking.

I thought about this, too - since I'm putting the 75 nose on the 70 rear clip.
WAY too much work - forget about the price of all the chrome goodies to "make it right". I will be quite happy to have my "72.5" look like a 73.
Spend the $$ on go fast parts - more fun for the buck.
:seeya

The only way to do it would be to put a 70-72 front clip on the car. Should be able to pick up the clip for $1000-$1500. Then install and paint costs. Maybe $3000 total??? Better off to trade.
