Installing Door Wearherstripping? Please Help!
Can someone point me to a web site oe tell me how to install the door weatherstripping on my 77s doors. I am not sure if I put the adhesive on the door and the waetaherstipping, or just the door or what. PLEASE Help. :confused:

I dont think it would matter, but it would be easier if you put it on either a little bit at a time. That way the stuff wont get stuck to everything.

Screw both end down first then begin glueing. Doesn't matter which get the glue, they both get it in the end.

on my 80, i followed the advice of Gary Gruhala, vette part seller, all around good guy.
First screw the ends in. then put adhesive on vertical parts (front and back of door) and stick them to door, holding them on with lots of masking tape. Leave doors open with tape on overnight. Next day, glue bottom on, using tape to hold in place. Leave doors open again for a night. Then take off tape and weather stripping should be safely attached and you can close door. Adjust striker as necessary.
