The fuel gauge in my 77' doesn't work. It goes all the way past the Full marker on the right. I was driving it around and it did come back down to the 1/2 mark after awhile, but went all the way back to the right the next time I started it. Any idea as to what the problem would be?

I've had two out of my four cars do this and both times it had been a "dirty" ground. The black wire going to the frame from the sending unit-usually also your taillights will act up too when this happens.

Paul, in what way do the lights "act up?" My fuel guage will not read past 3/4, and my right tail light goes them a lot. I've even seen this on another C-3 on the highway.
