Transmission cable adjustment: Turbo350
We are all ready to fire up the engine for the first time, but then I remembered I still have to conect the transmission shift linkage to the trasmission. So I bolted it on but it didn't line up right. When the transmission is in first gear, the shifter is in drive. The holes in the bracket aren't long for adjustment, and I don't see any way to adjust the cable. How do I do it?
(Also, why would it be different than before?)
Thanks!
Jerry

Re: Transmission cable adjustment: Turbo350 (jerryjfunk)
Anyone?
A couple nights ago we got the engine to ALMOST run. It runs for a second and quits. I had to go to NJ so we haven't worked on it since, but later today we'll probably adjust the timing and stuff and see if it works. I hope I hope I hope!!!
But I can't drive it until we get the tranny cable hooked up...
Thanks,
Jerry
