Steering Column ???
Can anyone tell me if any other GM cars have the same steering column as my 68? (Non tilt, Non telescopic)
When I spin the shaft it does not turn true. Do you think the shaft is bent, or something loose or worn in the column?
I already have the rag joint out. Do you just remove the two bolts at the fire wall, and two under dash and pull it out? How difficult are these to rebuild?

That does not sound good. Mine spins true but the bearings don't sound new by any means. Does Flaming River make a column for C3s?

it sounds like you need to replace the lower bearing in the steering column. It not a hard job to do. You will need to pull the column out of the car. hope this helps.
