Default Is Lars still rebuilding Q JETS for us forum members?

Its time for mine to be done right. I tried but still not getting it right. The cost of a new one is shocking!!

A club member who runs a corvette shop will do it. I asked. the price is @$400. he says he acid dips all the parts and everything. He states that when done they look brand new

I've been told that Lars charges AROUND $100 and does an AWESOME job.

$400? Whoo, that seems steep! Recarbco does it for about $240 ($200 right now--they're running a special), and they seem to do a real nice job, and it looks brand new, too.

You cannot get a better rebuild on a carb than Lars will do for you, but as I recall, he doesn't have the equipement to replate or refinish anything, so it'll look clean but otherwise like you sent it.
