Bought Chrome Master Cylinder
Ecklers advertised it to fit 1967-76 w/ Power Brakes. Of course, it did not fit. Just last month I had to send something else back because it was not as advertised in the catalog.
Think I am learning a lesson!
BTW, I am finding other sources as well. :skep:

Curious: What didn't fit about it ?
I had trouble before with a Schlep (Pep) Boys MC - pushrod wouldn't fit in.

Re: Bought Chrome Master Cylinder (DMONSVETTE)
I will describe the problem as best I can: The end of the cylinder that attachés to the car was the problem area. The one I took off had a shallow "hole" and the chrome one had a "deep" hole.
The manufacturer of the part is Tuff Stuff, so, I called them direct. The part Ecklers shipped was 2019NA and the correct part should have been 2071NA.
So, I had to return it and will probably have to wait awhile to get the correct part. They should have known better because they have been in business forever. I should have bought the thing from Tuff Stuff to begin with.
Stupid me!

Re: Bought Chrome Master Cylinder (OHSIXX)
What year car is it? On my 76, parts are usually referred to as 76e or 76L
76 early, 76 late. Unfortunately I think my car was built in late june because half the poopie is 76e and the other half is 76l. I literally am to the point that if given the option, I always by both and then take the other one back after I figure out which one fits. Bought the wrong part to many times...
