How do you secure the parking brake cable?
Hi guys,
I've been checking the Haynes repair manual (which doesn't say much at all) and the 1968 assembly manual and didn't have any luck finding an answer to this question.
The cable has at the end a ball secured to it, it goes true the c shaped metal plate and is that it?
The spring should be located between the trailering arm plastic insert and the c shaped metal plate?
This c shaped metal, should it have the opening located at the top or at the bottom?
Is this installation secure? Will it hold in place once I tension the lines?
If anyone has a pic of it, I'd be thankful to see it...
Thanks to all
