Default Toronto Guys...FREE BEER!!!

Hey Guys, I was wondering if anyone would be able to lend me a hand in changing my front springs and shocks??

I've asked a few people and they're all afraid of small details, like losing an arm or something? ...bunch of girls

Do you think I should leave it to a professional, or does free beer sound good to you...???

Why are you changing springs?
I have 4 shocks sitting in my garage to be put on as well. Just haven't had the time. Maybe we can get together and do both cars....

You scratch my back and I will scratch yours.... (don't get any ideas 1BAD69 :nono: )

I'm changing springs because the car is waaaay too bouncy! I know that it may just be the shocks, but "while I'm at it..."

Sounds good, we can get together and help each other out...

That's a heckuva a "while I'm at it." It's the worn-out shocks that are causing the car to bounce, not the springs. Replace the springs only if your front end is drooping. :yesnod:

If you want a better "while I'm at it," do the rear shocks instead of the front springs.

while your at it change your control arm bushings, motor mounts and wiring harness front to back. While your at that, might as well redo your brake lines and change your carpet. just buggin  I agree that the car bouncing is definitely the shocks.... ONLY. leave the springs, and if you change the shocks, (easy) and the car is still not satisfactory (not likely) THEN consider changing springs. IMO

:iagree: Just do the shocks, I'm sure you'll be happy. If not, you can do the springs another time!

Thanks for the offers guys. Everyone is suggesting a shock change only. I'll try the shock change then if I still feel like a ricer with hydros on the highway, I'll do the springs too.
